By train
5 minutes on foot
From Thun station the path leads up through the Obere Hauptgasse to the castle — about 5 minutes’ walk.
By car
Schlossberg car park
Drive straight to the Schlossberg car park (Burgstrasse 17). A lift and short walk take you into the old town and to the castle.
On foot & by boat
In the heart of the old town
From the Thun boat landing, stroll through the old town. The Schlossberg is part of the historic town walk.

- By train: from Thun station it is about a 5-minute walk.
- By boat: the boat landing is nearby. From there you walk through the old town.
