The museum castle is open almost all year round. Tickets are available conveniently online or directly at the ticket office in the castle.

Thun Castle is a museum. Here you can see when the castle is open and what admission costs.

Opening hours

  • February and March: every day, 1 to 4 pm.
  • April to June: every day, 10 am to 5 pm.
  • July and August: every day, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
  • September and October: every day, 10 am to 5 pm.
  • November to January: every Sunday, 1 to 4 pm.

Admission

  • Adults: 10 francs (castle only). Castle and temporary exhibition together: 15 francs.
  • Children aged 6 to 16: 3 francs. Children under 6: free.
  • With OASI/DI or as a student or apprentice: 8 francs.
  • Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children): 20 francs.
