The Historical Museum at Thun Castle
Since 2018 the museum castle has told its story across seven levels — from the cellar up to the towers. The monument itself becomes the exhibit.

The museum castle became reality in 2018. 130 years after the museum was founded, and on the 800th anniversary of the death of its builder, Duke Berchtold V of Zähringen, it was given a unified presentation for the first time — the monument itself becomes the exhibit of the staging.
This makes the outstanding architectural significance of this cultural heritage tangible during your visit, right at the original.
